UFO Trials was a very nice weekend
Team Unicycle Forever organised the first ever edition of the open Dutch trial nationals. It was part of the OnTrack in Tilburg (NL), a huge festival promoting Street Culture and Urban Sports.

Dutch Unicycle Track Nationals (NKE)
The Dutch Unicycle Track Nationals of 2026 were great fun. The day consisted of eight disciplines; 50m one footed, 100m, 800m, 5km, 10km unlimited, Longjump, IUF Slalom and 10m slow. Main interest: 10K and Longjump To be honest, I really didn’t train track at all this year.

400Kms in 24 hours on a unicycle
The great Lisanne Boer unicycled 24 hours continuously to raise money for Rene Kids Centre She broke the world record for female and achieved a total distance of 412 kms. Just imagine that: unicycling over 400 kms on your trusty 36″, in one full day, without sleep. Amazing achievement by an amazing athlete.
June 29: Speeltuin Assendorp, Zwolle
On June 29 you can enjoy performances in unique locations throughout the Netherlands. Can be in someone’s living room or garden, in a theater or at a historic location. With TaleSpinners we’ll be playing our festival-show Raw Stoked at the most beautiful playground the city of Zwolle has to offer: Speeltuin Assendorp.
Dutch Unicycle Championships 2025
The Dutch unicycle road championships (NKE) were a lot of fun. For the first time in years we competed on a different track. The “Pijnenburg Parcours” in Tilburg is really nice. Is part of a huge sport-park in a very green natural area with streams and such. Really nice.
Hammertime
I was invited to play a halftime unicycle show during the basketbal play offs at the Landstede sportscenter in Zwolle, The Netherlands. It was an awesome experience to be able to perform Hammertime for such a big growd in a truly amazing atmosphere. Thanks Hammers and see you next season!
Festival in Winterswijk was cool
So, we played our first festival-show and it was quite an experience. I really mean that: we learned a lot. We had lots of fun, it was very educational and very cool. Normally in theaters We normally play theaters, meaning that we more or less have the stage for our selves.
UFO 2025 unicycle-convention
My unicycle is spinning the 540 unispin, but then I make an error with the placement of my feet. My left foot lands on the crank just fine, but my dumb right foot totally misses it. But it isn’t over yet.
Thanks 2024
2024 was an awesome unicycle year. Learned a lot. Met incredible people. Did muni for the first time ever, at Laucc in Colombia of all place. What an experience that was! Had some great personal bests. High jump over bar at CFM in France: 60cm.
The arrival of Sinterklaas
Sinterklaas is a traditional celebration in the Dutch speaking world. It brings warmth, gifts and candy. The arrival of Sinterklaas is all over the country a big thing. I assisted Sinterklaas a couple of days.
Sunny Leiden
Yes folks, after months of rain we suddenly had a dry and windless day. It was quite a shock as I didn’t recognise the sun at first too. But that gold stain in the sky made it possible to train on the streets of Leiden with my friend Julia. We practiced some jumps and flips.
Open Dutch Unicycle Championships 2024
Participated in the Open Dutch Championships 2024 and had a great time. Scored a lot of personal bests and had a brilliant day with my friends. The Open Dutch Unicycle Championships (NKE) once was my first unicycle-event ever.
Training for Open Dutch Unicycling Championships 2024
On June 1st the Open Dutch Unicycle Championships are held. And the organisation was cool enough to organize a formal training day to train 10M slow, slalom, long jump and the start of sprint. It was a great day that started with a cool warming up organised by Lindsey and Elize. And some relaxed unicycling.

Talking about awesome! Yes, that was my 2023. I made a movie with most of my highlights. Probably forgot a few, as you can’t remember (or even capture) everything. Nonetheless am I very pleased with the movie showing my year. I wish you all the best for 2024!
