Many thanks for this great Unicon: to the Unicon 21 team, all those Volunteers, the sponsors, the city of Bemidji, the county of Beltrami and everyone that attended and competed. I had an absolute fabulous couple of weeks.
Have an amazing first quarter of the unicycle worldchampionships in the USA. So far I scored three personal bests, resulting in three medals: 2 x Silver, 1 x Bronze. 10K roadrace unlimited: Silver In the 10K unlimited I raced un-geared to 27:27.
Here I’m with thousands of unicyclists in Bemidji for the start of Unicon21. We just experienced the impressive openingsceremony for the Worldchampionships of Unicycling. We paraded with our Uni’s through town and had spontaneous meet and greets. This Unicon in Bemidji is the 21st time the Worldchampionships are held.
On our way to the world championship of unicycling in Bemidji, we stayed a few days in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The city is almost as big as my homecity in The Netherlands and just as peaceful and green. It’s a lovely place.
The German Unicycle Championship of 2024 was great. Eh no … it was beyond great. Had a fantastic time with my friends, completed the tricks I wanted in the competition and – DRUMROLL – landed my first ever 540 Unispin at GUC!
