EUC 2025 in Miskolc Hungary

The Extreme Unicycle Championships (EUC) were held in Miskolc in Hungary this year. I had an amazing time and am very, very happy with my results. Overall it was super fun.

The Factory Arena is an amazing location for any Urban-sport. It is a huge old factory complex with a gigantic trials-park, an indoor multi-hall skate-park, an outdoor pump track and overall nice catering facilities. Hungary is a very nice and beautiful country, with awesome people. The Hungarian language is quite challenging, but almost everyone under 30 speaks (some) English and everyone over 50 Russian, so I could manage quite easily.

As it was my last EUC-competition as a Junior, I decided to compete in the “Open Category”. This basically means I had to compete with boys. But as we share the same riding style, it was super fun. Pretty happy with how the competitions went.

EUC opened with the Jumps and I had mixed results. Don’t know if I lacked focus as I was happy to see everybody, but in high-jump I didn’t even manage to jump my personal best, let alone exceed it. Quite disappointing, but I managed to set it right during the long jump (2nd).

Trials went fantastic, although I really had to give it all. I’m really happy with the results (2nd) and I even managed to complete a few lines that were way out of my comfort zone.

The flatland battles were right after trials and I as I was pretty tired I wasn’t sure if my legs would hold up. But it went very well and I made it to the finals (which I didn’t win, so 2nd place).

The Street-competition was awesome too. I love putting in the creativity and always attempt something that’s out of my comfort zone. I did a few high drop ins and some were spectacular fails. But my runs were solid and I landed 3 out of my five best tricks and managed to score a first place.
