This German Unicycle Championship (GUC 2026) looked a bit different than usual this year. Instead of the competitions being spread out over two days, we got both Flatland and Street in the skatepark on Saturday, with a bunch of workshops scheduled for Friday-evening and Sunday.
The whole weekend it was really, really hot. After the street qualification and finals in the blazing sun, I think everyone was really glad that we could ride flatland in the shade.
I had a lot of fun in both competitions. With street I landed a few new tricks in comp, which was pretty cool! With flatland I’m really happy about landing my harder tricks, and having some consistency overall.
Even though the heat was really harsh, I think the whole weekend was great. I’m exited for my next flatland competition, which will be UNICON. Hope to see you there!
