2024 was an awesome unicycle year. Learned a lot. Met incredible people. Did muni for the first time ever, at Laucc in Colombia of all place. What an experience that was! Had some great personal bests. High jump over bar at CFM in France: 60cm. In the USA (Unicon) I longjumped 140cm on platform, looped the lake at 2:49:25.16 (55Km, 36″ Pure) and rode the 10Km in 27:27.85 (also 36″ Pure). Pure meaning ungeared. Did my first true rails, got a grind consistent, repeated a 540 a couple of times, landed the 360 side and learned quite a few rolls.
We designed the unicycle-musical STOKED! The full show is 100 minutes, but in 2024 we played a 30 minute version a couple of times as a try out. I loved every minute of it.
The movie differs from 2023 where I tried to capture the year in a reportage. This time I tried to capture 2024 in ‘Spoken Word‘.
On to a peaceful and healthy 2025!
