Winter-EUC 2026

The first big event of the year is the Winter-EUC (indoor EUC). It means catching up with a lot of international friends again after the winter. I had a really good time at this edition of the Extreme Unicycle Championships. The vibe was very nice (as usual at EUC) and I had a lot of fun with many people.

This was surprisingly my first event ever where I had to compete in the crowded adult female category. Therefore I am very happy about making it into the finals with all three disciplines!

The event started off on Friday with Flatland. During my qualification run I was a bit slow, so I didn’t have enough time to do all of the tricks I planned to. Nonetheless I still qualified directly into the finals and I really enjoyed watching the lower brackets unfold! It is new for me to ride in a category with so many riders, and I think it’s really cool. In the finals I rode three battles, and even ended up taking third place.

On Saturday was the trial competition and the street prelim. The day started off with the two trial waves. I’m pretty happy about the amount of lines I ended up doing, and I’m hyped about finishing four lines in the last 5 minutes of the competition. Thanks to Samuel for giving me some advice on lines and bringing me cola during the comp lol.

Then it was time for street qualifications! The run I made was pretty nice, and the whole comp really inspired me to train more street. I ended up doing my run with just one fail, and qualifying for the finals on Sunday!

Saturday wasn’t over yet though. Because with the evening came the trial finals. To me, the lines looked really difficult. But I saw one that seemed at least a bit doable. I’m really glad I ended up landing that one, and after trying some others and taking some hard falls I think I got the most out of it for myself. Really big thanks to Ben for being my spotter during the finals! I ended up fourth out of the seven finalists, massive respect to Julia, Anna and Lea for landing many lines and taking the podium.

On Sunday morning were the street finals. I had a lot of fun with my last tricks, and ended up trying some new things. I’m exited to train some more street and to see if I can start doing more creative tricks! After a pretty close final I ended up taking third place in street too.

Overall it was a super nice Winter EUC. I had a lot of fun with my team and with all my other friends. I am looking forward to continuing to ride in the adult female category, and to training more street and trial when the weather gets better.
Thanks to everyone for the fun memories, and thanks to everyone who made this event possible again.

See you all soon!
