As some of you already know, a few weeks ago I decided to leave Unicycle Forever Team. I’ve had an amazing (almost) three years, full of learning, fun, and wonderful friendships. I’m very thankful to Roos and the team for all the help and the great times.
The team has been a very big part of my life, and it has helped me very much. So this was not an easy decision for me to make. It took some time, but after chewing on it for a few weeks I realized that the team and I had grown apart.
I think that real friendships go beyond team boundaries. That’s why I’m looking forward to giving a workshop at the Dutch ‘Eenwieler Festival’ (Unicycle Festival) together with Roos, and I’m looking forward to UFO 2026. (Sign in is open!) And of course to all the other events where I hope to see my friends from the team.
For me the highlight with the team is the summer of 2023. Starting with EUC in Marchtrenk, Austria. The team-vibe at EUC was just so good, and everyone was being so nice. The rest of the summer we did a lot of online training. With calling, texting, hyping up and spamming clips. That summer was really special to me.
A big thanks to Roos and all of my friends from the team. For so many amazing memories. I’ll cherish those forever.
After all, this team made ‘little me’ actually like the color pink.
