STOKED!
Esther has a dream, a passion. She is 14 years old and wants to compete in the worldchampionships. She trains hard, but in her town, she’s just “that crazy girl on one wheel” — or, at best, a circus clown in training. As Esther battles hard to prove herself, she discovers she’s got a few blind spots herself.
STOKED! is my first English spoken and sung show about stuff every teenager deals with. STOKED! is a music theater show with a lot of spectacular unicycling and all original music. I perform together with actress/singer Ksenia Marasanova, who has played over 200 solo-shows and even more ensemble shows. She is a master in archetype theater and a good singer. I love unicycling and can sing. A perfect fit as you can tell! We perform all over the world als The TaleSpinners in theaters, on festivals and in schools.
We have three versions of STOKED!
- STOKED! = mini-musical, 30 minutes.
- Raw Stoked = streetfestival-edition, 20-30 minutes.
- Truly Stoked = full show, 60 minutes.

EATERS
“Eaters” is a theateract of 15-25 minutes, in which I sing a song about cooking and guests that I’m expecting, while I’m using all kinds of circustechniques, including unicycles and juggling. Eaters won an award during the big talent show ‘Circus got Talent’. It was picked up by several outdoor-festivals, theaters and and schools.

“Eaters was the festival-opener of the big Storytellingevent ‘Tussenland’ in the city of Zwolle.
Over the Rainbow

Over the Rainbow is a theatershow of 60 minutes about identity and personal growth. My act Eaters is part of the show, but I perform more acts. With my unicycle I take you through the whole show from story to song and back to story and so forth. Over the Rainbow is a multicultural show, that includes a lot of European history and personal struggles of the two main characters (moi and Ksenia Marasanova). The show features over 20 songs. We play ‘Over the Rainbow’ in Theaters and for schools.
Earlier work

In 2022 I played Icarus in Utrecht, also featuring a unicycle (as you can tell). We performed the show a couple of times in Utrecht, but didn’t tour.
