My name is Sofia (2010), I’m from The Netherlands and I love unicycling. As sport I mean, or as professional theater-tool. For me unicycling is a way of life.

Unicycling as sports
I participate in unicycle-competitions in Europe: ie Belgium, Austria, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Hungary. I also participated in the world championships in the USA. It stands to reason that I visit as many conventions, workshops and fun-unicycling get togethers as I can. Last but not least: I’m a proud member of the international unicycling team Unicycle Forever, managed and trained by worldchampion Roos Segers. Watch my 2024-throwback to get an idea.
Unicycle, circus and theater
Truly Stoked is my new theatershow with lots of singing and unicycling. Duration of the full show is 75 minutes and I perform together with the great and magnificent actress/singer Ksenia Marasanova and you can find us under The TaleSpinners. Show and songs are in English. Truly Stoked follows my award winning act EATERS.
I still play EATERS, but it’s part of the educational show ‘Over the Rainbow’. This historical and multicultural theatershow is about equality. This full show is between 45 and 60 minutes. It features a lot of songs in several languages, as well as acting, dancing and – of course – unicycling. I play this show together with Ksenia Marasanova. So far we have performed in schools, theater and during special occasions.
It’s the community!
Unicycling is fun, great for your health and the community is really cool. At events I meet lots of different people from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures. I have friends from all over Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas and most of them I met at an event or convention. As you can tell, I’m truly stoked about the unicycle.
